After some intense negotiation between what I wanted to happen and what I was actually doing, I managed to get my code for my wip Middle School (working title) up onto the git. Once I know that it is approaching something that will at least get to the title page without going down in flames, I'll look at making it accessible but for now it'll remain my dirty little secret. I've had a love/hate relationship with other gits in the past and the gods only know what kind of mess I'll make having total control over the master branch!
I use Sourcetree for the Girl Life git, but I'm convinced I'll end up overwriting their game with my loli based game - or, worse, end up overwriting my game with girl life! - if I try to use the same install for both projects. I downloaded and installed Git for Windows https://git-for-windows.github.io/ which has some nice features like the command line interface, but I've gotten used to the gui of Sourcetree https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/
I'm relatively new to using git for the most part so for all I know, I'm using the absolute worst possible applications. What interface applications would you recommend?
Edit: I'm using the same username on the git as here on the forums so no one can steal it!
