I just got current on Fate/stay night: Unlimited blade works. I have not read the original Visual Novel, but just looking at the level of plot holes in the 2006 adaptation compared to the far more complex and internally consistent story in this new adaptation shows that this one is probably a lot closer to the original work, and it is freaking fantastic so far. Don't worry if you have watched the 2006 version, this new one is practically a completely different story. The only things where the two are anywhere even close to the same are in the 1st episode or two.

The only simulcasts I've managed to get interested in thus far are Plastic Memories (which as of episode 3 is on thin ice) and RINNE (Rumiko Takahashi and myself have an understanding about how slapstick comedy should work). I haven't yet gotten a chance to check out Blood Blockade Battlefront despite picking up on the steadily building critical hype surrounding it. I have reason to believe it will be worth my while, but anime in general is pretty hit or miss, and the critics and I don't always agree.

Other than that, I recently finished "House of Five Leaves," which was decent.

I am watching mushishi like one ep per month. Feels good idea to not rush it and watch only when in good mood for it because there just isn't much laid back good series made. I have natsume yuujinchou to watch after I finish mushishi so not totall in the dark. :)

I should get on to watching Gokusen too.. my backlog isn't completely empty luckily.

Summer season has some fucking awesome series to wait for. <3

Im about a third of the way through the Prince Of Tennis series. Sadly, I wont be doing much with animes in general at the moment because of internet problems...those should be fixed in about a week or so. Then I can get back to wasting my days away watching more anime.

Finished dark souls2 and couldn't find any game like it so I read berserk for like 6 hours to finish it. It was what I needed but what now?
It was shounenish at times but I give some slack for the author and it wasn't that bothersome.
Claymore is like most popular rec but I've done that too. Kokou no hito would fill that void in my heart right now but I've read it too and same author's "Innocent" is in works.

I can't read anything ongoing. Only finished. (Berserk was weird exception and I'm sure it will never be finished and the current last chap is probably the very last too.)

AND THE LOLI WITCH WAS SOOOOOOO ADORABLE. Too bad I can't find vanilla doujinshi of her. (There's 2 good ones still)

Add Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru to my watching list cause I decided to download that series the other day, and probably going to re-watch Umineko no Naku Koro ni soon as I also downloaded that the other day.

Just finished marathoning anime this month starting on April 3rd I watched the following:
Cat Planet Cuties. 13eps +1 ova. Met 2 of my 3 requirements for my perfect anime (appropriate full frontal nudity were logical, appropriate use of weapons and depections; failed has a love triangle/harem)

Haganai/haganai next. 24eps +1ova. had some appropriate nudity and loli nudity

Strike Witches 1&2. 24 eps. Nudity. Guns

Sword art online 1 + 2. 49eps, good story although a bit rushed at times and emotional for me in places (I don't deal with character deaths or torture well)

Do you mean to say the visual novel version? Or are you ACTUALLY saying they re-made the anime better? If the former, I'm covered there. If the latter, count me interested.

Don't mention her. I won't be able to decide whether I want to cry or cringe and will probably do an awkward combination of both.

Perfect. Delete those and read the Visual Novels.  :P

Nah, I'm talking about the VNs indeed. Glad to hear you're covered tho. *thumbs up*

And while I'm at it, let's stop being off-topic and actually answer that thread.

Time for a good ol' tier list of the season. This one is... pretty meh, so it'll be short.

"Watch it" Tier : ... I told you this season was quite bad.

"Great" Tier
Oregairu S2 (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku) : Finally a romcom with actually interesting interactions and characters/character development. Good to get more of it.

"WTF" Tier
Shokugeki no Soma : We had Food Porn : The Anime last Season, and this time we have Food Porn : The Shonen. Even if it's tropey as fuck, I cannot not watch this, the recipes are dope and it's entertaining. Nom nom nom.

"AWWWWW" Tier
Hello!! Kiniro Mosaic : Cute girls doing cute things in cute ways, season 4027. Not that I mind. Aww.
Hibike! Euphonium : Cute girls doing cute music in cute ways.
Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken 2 : I'm not exactly watching it since I'm just saving the episodes to marathon it at the end of the season. (It's a short, and I hate having to wait a week for 3mn.) But Season 1 of it was great, so I felt like putting it here.

"Decent" Tier
Plastic Memories : This anime is so cheap. The humor is cheap, the setting is cheap, the feels are cheap. Anyone could write this, but it still works and the main girl is adorable. Still cheap.
Kekkai Sensen : I hesitated between Great,  WTF tier and this one but I dunno how it'll turn out. It's... extremely random. Quite crazy. Probably the only show actually worth checking as someone who doesn't normally watch things weekly, because it's damn unique, and entertaining.

I'm also "following" Fate/Stay night : UBW like I follow Game of Thrones, I only watch the scenes I'm interested in since I read the source material. It's a good adaptation. (Yes, I can say that too sometimes)

Really, I thought the first half of UBW was great, but season 2 has been pretty lack-luster for me so far. It seems almost as though they completely forgot how to create dramatic tension. Just the scene with Illia and Gilgamesh. That should have had me at the edge of my seat, but it was just complete yawn material the entire way though.

BTW: I actually have not read the VN for Fate/Stay night. Planning on it though, because I really would like to check out what that horrible scene would have looked like if they did it right.

I'm watching RWBY right now and I am indescribably pissed that there is more or less NO hentai for it out there. Nothing of quality anyway. Most of what you can find is a let down. All of the ladies in RWBY are extremely hot and I want to see them get banged. Is that too much to hope for?.... *takes deep breath* Ok, I'm done ranting.
